Serene Retreat
A thoughtful retreat blending French-country warmth, expressive color, and relaxed, resort-inspired living.
The existing bathroom was dark and dated with a bulky tub, small shower, closed-in toilet area, limited storage, and an inefficient layout.
For the primary bath, the palette becomes softer and more serene. A custom double vanity, dedicated makeup area, arched illuminated mirrors, and warm brass accents create a refined but approachable atmosphere. Natural stone and softly textured surfaces continue into the expanded shower, giving the room the feeling of a private retreat while still being designed around everyday routines.
The primary bedroom continues the relaxed, collected character of the suite. A custom millwork wall integrates the bed, nightstands, shelving, and lighting into one architectural composition, while a botanical-inspired wallpaper introduces the subtle French-country influence found throughout the project. Layered neutrals, natural wood, and soft textiles keep the room warm and restful rather than overly formal.
